My Significant Learnings in 2022

What have been your more significant learnings in 2022 and what are you working on for 2023? How can I support you to live your best 2023?

HERE’S MINE…

1. Make sure you are climbing the ladder against the right wall

I was invited to have a radio programme on an Expat Radio channel. As good as it sounded the more I looked at it the more I realised that the values of the owners of the station, didn’t align with mine.
It’s so important to make sure that the work we do and the people we work with align with our values and goals. When we work with people who share similar values and visions, it can make the work more meaningful and rewarding. It can also help us to stay motivated and committed to our goals.
If we find ourselves working with people whose values don’t align with ours, it can be draining and demotivating. So it’s definitely worth taking the time to carefully consider these things and make sure we are climbing the ladder against the right wall.
2023 I will only be working with people who align with my values, my mission and my vision

2. I’m a high achiever – who knew!

Being a high achiever takes dedication, hard work, and the ability to prioritise and manage my time effectively. It can be challenging at times, but the sense of accomplishment and progress that comes with achieving my goals can be extremely rewarding. It’s important to remember that it’s okay to take breaks and recharge, but with a little focus and determination, so I can achieve great things.
2023 I will be managing my time more effectively.

3. I maintained habits

I journal first thing every day and have been for the last 210 days. I have also now created a practice of repeating mantras. It’s something I have want to do for ages and now I am! Consistency is key when it comes to developing healthy habits. Journaling and repeating mantras can be powerful tools for personal growth and self-improvement. They can help us to gain clarity, focus our thoughts, and stay motivated and committed to our goals. Sometimes we just need to start.
2023 will be a year to develop new positive habits and rituals for me.

4. And using more rituals

My coaching practice teaches rituals and I actively plan out my 90 days at the end of every quarter which has given me time. This can be a very effective way to stay proactive and focused, rather than reactive and scattered. Having clear goals and a plan to achieve them can help us to stay motivated and on track. Incorporating rituals into our routine can also be helpful, as they can provide structure and a sense of purpose to our days. The benefits they provide can be well worth the effort.
The next 90 days are already mapped out. Why don’t you take some time today and create yours?

5. Abundance in all things

2022 has been about a deeper understanding about abundance and the belief that we are all deserving of the things we desire. This has been a powerful mindset shift that has helped me accept what I want in my life. And whilst it’s also important to believe that we deserve abundance, it’s also important to take action and make an effort towards achieving our goals. Baby steps can add up and eventually lead to big results!

6. Accepting I was only human and I make mistakes.

It’s so important for me to remember that we are all human and that making mistakes is a normal part of life. It can be hard to forgive myself when I make mistakes. It takes courage to admit, but it’s important to do so in order to move forward and learn from them. Receiving positive support from this community has been really wonderful in this process. It’s reminded me that mistakes are a normal part of the learning and growth (and growing pains) process.

7. Boundaries

is one of my subwords for 2023 (my main word being nurture). The importance of setting boundaries, keeping them (we are the owners of our time, not the managers) and learning to say the NO word! Setting boundaries can be an important aspect of self-care and can help me to feel more in control of my life.

8. Using my intuition/awareness more

I had a few instances where I thought something wasn’t quite as it should be but I didn’t listen.
Using our intuition and awareness can also be helpful in making decisions and navigating life. To listen to our inner knowing and to trust ourselves. It can be challenging to do so at times, but it’s an important step in personal growth and self-improvement.
2023 will be a year of listening more to my inner knowing.

HERE’S TO YOU GETTING WHAT YOU DESIRE AND THE GOODNESS YOU DESERVE IN 2023
